The Burley Rotary Club will obtain class lists and provide backpacks with supplies to approx. 80 students to be distributed by the school based upon a needs assessment. We include a post-card with club information and the 4-way test in each backpack. Club members deliver the stuffed backpacks to the local schools. The principal of each school distributes the back [packs to needy students based upon information available such as school lunch data. We use generic backpacks so the students receiving them are not readily identified by their classmates.
