DESCRIPTION: The Burley Rotary Club in 2018 obtained class supply lists from the various schools located within the Cassia County School District and delivered over 100 backpacks fully equipped with the required supplies needed for that grade. Backpacks were then labeled based on grade level and then dropped off at each school where administrators and teachers could provide needy kids with the backpack and supplies based on their discretion and internal data. The backpacks were picked to be a popular model so it would not be apparent to the students as to who received the donations.
